It was an honor to be involved in helping runners recover from their efforts at Royal Park Half Marathon in Hyde Park on Sunday 8th October.
The charities both Diabetes UK and Shooting Star Chase really made us feel very welcome and their riders were very appreciative of our therapy which makes this day very rewarding for us therapists.
In 2008 London created a spectacular Half Marathon in central London – the first and only one of its kind. The stunning 13.1 mile route takes in the capital’s world-famous landmarks on closed roads, and four of London’s eight Royal Parks – Hyde Park, The Green Park, St James’s Park and Kensington Gardens.
Since 2008:
• More than 128,000 runners have crossed the finish line
• Over £35m has been raised for more than 750 charities
Clinic4Sport is grateful for the opportunity to be able make a difference when it comes to performance and recovery and we will always do our absolute best to look after runners at this event.
